Max E Moose Christmas Stocking

You won't find an cuter stocking to hang on your mantel.  He can be made from flannel or homespuns, or if you have a favorite old flannel shirt, they will also make a great stocking.  The fabric is lined, so even if the shirt is thin, it will work.

Requirements: 2/3 yd Plaid Flannel or homespun fabric (an old flannel shirt works too) 1 yd fusible interfacing that is at least 22" wide Tan Felt 9" x 12" for ears and nose 4 pieces of brown felt 9" x 12" for antlers Wire from a coat hanger or wire of similar gauge for antler support 2 pieces of white fabric each 6" x 6" 2 pieces of black felt each 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" for eyes Small amount of stuffing for eyes 2 pieces of heavy card stock or light cardboard each 3" x 3" for eyes Hot glue or fabricTac to adhere eyes
